If you have been reading my blog for a while (or just been stalking my old posts….), then you may recall a fashion blogger event I attended at Jules B in Jesmond last September. Jules B are a local company, with shops in Jesmond, Kendal and Yarm, who specialize in designer clothes for men and women. They stock some of my favourite designer brands including Lulu Guinness (all of the swoons), Alice and Olivia and Isabel Marant.
Not only do Jules B stock incredible hand-picked clothing and accessories, but the store decor is stunning, and the staff are so lovely. Designer isn’t something I can afford, due to my student budget, but I love browsing their site and dreaming of my first designer purchase in the future (eeeep!)
I’ve put together three looks for Summer using items from their site, all of which I wish I could own!

The first look is centered around a Lulu Guinness scarf (how could I resist?), I love the prints of her pieces, the lip print reminds me of 60s pop art and I love the contrast between the red and the black and white stripes. A scarf such as this is SO versatile as well! It could be worn as a headscarf, a necktie/choker or tied on the handle of a bag. It adds a fun pop of colour and print to a outfit. I thought it would look amazing with a black and white tiered Alexander McQueen top tucked into a white denim skirt. Who could resist the sunglasses too? They are so 60s and go perfectly with the black and white theme to the outfit. As someone who cannot walk anywhere practical in heels, I opted to style the outfit with flat, black sandals, which I think will look SO cute for when I am in Brighton this summer.

I chose to create a simpler outfit for the second look, which would be perfect for days at the beach or even for strolling around a city. I LOVE anything striped and the look of cropped tops with high waisted jeans or denim skirts, which is why I chose to style it with the white skirt again. I also love the frayed hem, which adds to the casual vibe of the outfit and creates more interest. As for accessories, pink wedges add a subtle pop of pastel colour, whilst the sunglasses fit well with the black and white and the blue fedora perfectly finishes the look off. I love this look, especially, as it is something I can see myself wearing all of the time and I love the silhouette of the cropped, more fitted top with the A-line skirt.
|Top Hat Shoes Jeans|
The star piece of this outfit is a Vivetta number, which is another of my favourite designers. I adore their quirk and 60s inspired tailoring. How stunning are the hands on the collar, as well as the side profiled faces going down the centre? I could go on all day about how bloody beautiful this piece is, I just love it. To let the top do all of the talking, I’d pair it with simple cropped denim, which could be worn in the day, or with heels on a night out. Again, I think a fedora hat would go fabulously and would create a more dressed-down and casual vibe. As we all know, us bloggers love anything marble print, so when I saw these marble print shoes, I was head over heels. I love the lace up details and how delicate they are. I feel like this outfit is perfect for a lunch date or for visiting summer markets.
I’d love to know which look is your favourite!
