Night Music

Bonjour! So, last week was pretty alright, I finished off my latest unit of apprenticeship coursework, got some rather exciting blogger mail and finally sent off my university application for next year-eek! Since starting work full time in August, I have had so much time to think about what I want to do for the rest of my life, and have now applied for fashion communication and promotion courses across the country- which involves photography, styling and blogging so will definitely be the perfect course for myself. It was also a great week for music with Hello Operator debuting their EP and Blossoms releasing some new tracks; which really helped with livening up my daily commute to work!

Anyway, a few weeks ago Romwe got in touch about working together, and when I saw this silver skirt on their website how could I say no? You know how much I love silver (based on how often my silver boots grace this blog) but silver skirts are everywhere at the moment due to metallics being bang on trend for A/W, and I loved the A-line shape of the Romwe version. The skirt itself is a pretty good fit although and the quality is great for the price. I love the muted silver colouring and the fabric is quite thick so will hold its shape; it is also nicely lined. I further like the leather grain effect to the fabric, which makes it look more like the real thing!

Skirt- C/O Romwe       Jumper- Bella Freud via Depop      Coat- Topshop      Hat- H&M via Depop       Fishnet tights- Primark      Bag- Hillhouse Vintage

I styled the skirt with what is possibly my best Depop find eveeerr and is this Bella Freud Night Music knit. I have adored Bella Freud designs for years, so was beyond excited when I saw this one on Depop for a fraction of the retail price. It is so soft and comfy and I love the glitter elements within the slogan, as well as the detail on the sleeve- it is just a beautiful piece and I know it will last me for years to come.

I also added my new leopard print Topshop coat, which I have had my eye on for so long! I am a huge leopard print fan anyway, and this coat is such good quality and a great fit. As the pairing of leopard print and silver is quite full on, I opted for more neutral accessories; my new Primark boots (which only made it into one photo, whoops) were a bargain at £12 and are perfect for both work and the weekend and I also wore my Hillhouse Vintage bag, which is one of my favourites! Naturally, I had to add my much-loved baker boy cap- I promise that an alternative is on my Christmas list since I am sure everyone is getting sick of seeing this same one.
