I chose this really cute grey bag which has an amazing mustard lining, as well as being really well made. Versatility is something which I love in clothing and accessories, so I adore the fact that the bag strap can be taken off to use as a clutch bag! Detachable bag straps are a huge trend right now, with the likes of Accessorize and Pop & Suki creating bags which can be worn multiple ways, so this bag ticks off this trend as well as being unique.
I styled it with my new faux leather biker jacket from Zara, which I bought because it reminded me of the red Acne leather jacket, but was obviously a lot more affordable! The jacket is the perfect cropped length for me, and the silver hardware works really well with the burgundy colour. As much as I love my real leather jacket, it is nice to have a change and an alternative for adding a pop of colour to my outfits.
Layering is one of the easiest ways to keep warmer in A/W, so I layered this grey knit from Zara last year, over my velvet skirt. The two textures work really well together and create different shapes and silhouettes when layered. Not wanting to keep it too simple, I added some fishnet tights and my favourite silver boots, which both work really well as styling pieces and at adding more interest to the look.
