Leopard print loving

This past week has been pretty tiring, to say the least. As much as I do enjoy Winter, with Christmas, my birthday and having a well-deserved rest, leaving for work when it is dark and still being at work when it gets dark feels like my days go so quickly. I can't wait until the evenings start to get lighter again so I can actually have some motivation to do more after work than just sitting around and working on my blog. Another reason why my Christmas break has me all excited is that I will have a lot more time to get content together for my blog, work on my uni portfolio and just sleep!

Dress- ASOS        Scarf-  Accessorize     Jumper- Primark       Bag- C/O KoKo Couture       Tights- Primark      Boots- Betsy (last year, similar)

This week I am working with Koko Couture, a brand which sells bags and has concessions in the likes of Topshop, they got in touch and kindly offered to send me one of their bags to feature on my blog. You know by now how much I love a bag, and I adored the classic yet unusual style of the Eliza Clutch in black, which retails at £20. The bag itself is very roomy and actually a lot bigger than the bags which I usually go for! It also comes with a long chain strap, which is perfect for me as I like to have my hands free when I am out. The paperclip-like fastening detail was what sold the Eliza bag to me, it is such a quirky feature and adds a more individual spin on such a classic bag style. Being so used to smaller bags, I had no idea what to put in it but it fit all of my essentials as well as my DSLR and 35mm lens.

I styled the bag with one of my favourite ever ASOS finds, in the form of this amazing leopard print shift dress. As an avid fan of 60s fashion, I love a shift dress anyway and I also adore leopard print, so this dress is ideal for me- it also has pockets which makes it even better. The fabric is an amazing metallic material which just sets it off perfectly as a party dress as well as an everyday piece! Since it is Winter now, I layered the dress over a Primark high-neck jumper which was only £6 and is so so soft. These jumpers are ideal to use as layering pieces as they have them in so many different colours, I also picked up a very festive green one!

Also as a result of Winter arriving, I have had to put my fishnet tights on hold (most of the time) in favour of fleece-lined ones; so stylish. Despite not looking as good, fleece-lined tights are seriously cozy and soft and are perfect when you work in an office with temperamental heating. I also added my new pink scarf into the mix for this look, which was my only black Friday purchase and is in such an on-trend colour, as well as being really warm and the fabric makes it feel a lot more expensive than it is! To top the look off, I added my boots from last year, which add such a cool edge to an outfit and are also big enough to be able to wear an extra pair of socks underneath- also very fashionable.

If you are looking for a new bag or an almost-last-minute Christmas present then be sure to check out KoKo Couture's website!
