Shrimps

Hey hey! So last week was pretty good, I got an offer from Manchester Met university and was given an unconditional offer whilst at my Huddersfield interview, so I am really chuffed with myself! Hopefully this weekend I am going to a vintage kilo sale, which will be amazing and I am hoping to find some new pieces for super cheap.

Speaking of vintage, you may remember me working with Hillhouse Vintage last year on a post but, if not, then they are an incredible shop on ASOS Marketplace who sell vintage bags for even more incredible prices. They have also kindly given me a discount code for my readers! If you are in the market for a new bag then you can use the code 'Bisous20' to get 20% off full-priced items.

The bag I chose this time is giving me serious YSL vibes, and I love the gold chain strap. It is a small size, with not much width to it but is a good size for my card holder, phone and lipstick- the everyday essentials! I really like the moc-croc fabric and the gold detailing on the front, it may not be YSL but it is a gorgeous bag!

Hat- H&M via Depop  (similar)        Coat- Shrimps via Depop        Top- AC for AG via Vestiaire Collective     Jeans- Topshop sale (similar)         Bag- Hillhouse Vintage        Boots- Charity shop (similar)

So the obvious statement of this outfit is this insane Shrimps coat. I got it off Depop from one of my favourite Instagram users Francesca for such a bargain price! Shrimps have been one of my favourite designers for years and the colour, texture and details on this coat are stunning. The lining is an amazing contrast to the outside of the coat and there is the cutest little-appliqued character on the inner pocket, which is so recognisable for the brand. It is such a stand-out piece but it's safe to say that I am in love.

You may recall me mentioning wanting to wear clothes which I already own more on my blog, rather than featuring pieces as a one-off, so my AC for AG top is back on the blog for the second week in a row! I think fashion has become quite disposable recently and it is not only really bad for the environment but is so unrealistic for most people. Which is why I love it when I see fashion bloggers or celebrities re-wearing pieces on their blog or social media, it is nice to be able to relate to people who inspire your style. The great thing about styling as well is that you can re-wear the same pieces but style them differently to give off a completely different vibe.

The jeans were one of my only sale purchases after Christmas and were only about £16 with student discount, so a complete bargain! I love the stepped, frayed hem of them, it is such a lovely feature and the overall fit of them is oh-so flattering. I wore them with the boots I found in a charity shop before Christmas and they are the perfect length to work together. I am still so chuffed that I found these boots, the heel is such a stunning shape and the lace-up ribbons at the back is such a gorgeous touch.

For other accessories, I wore my trusty baker boy cap; I did get another one for Christmas but it, unfortunately, hasn't gone with any of the outfits I've shot for my blog since! I will definitely be featuring it soon, though. I also wore all of my everyday jewellery, which I am going to do a more in-depth post on hopefully next month.
