This past week has been pretty much the same as others recently; work, sleep, eat, repeat. Changing my blog posting day to Thursday is, however, giving me a lot more time to spend on posts if I am busy over the weekend, rather than rushing them on a Monday night after work.
I was initially thinking of sharing another outfit post today, but am still getting the hang of now using Adobe Lightroom to edit my photos rather than Photoshop (my hair is currently not as red in the photos as it is in real life), so I have switched up my schedule a bit. I love a subscription service as much as the next blogger does, so when I discovered Bootay Bag, an underwear subscription service through Instagram, I knew that I needed to try it out.
I don’t know about anyone else, but new underwear always makes me feel a little sassier, so getting two pairs of undies delivered to my door every month is ideal. Bootay Bag is an American service, but they ship worldwide and a bralette can be included for an additional cost each month. Possibly my favourite aspect of the service is that for every photo shared using the hashtag #undermatters, Bootay Bag will donate $1 to the Melanoma Foundation which is a charity that helps skin cancer suffers.
The underwear itself is really comfy, well made and fits perfectly. I’m usually a size 6, and ordered my Bootay Bag in a S, which fits really true to size. Obviously, everyone is different, so when you place your order, you are able to customise what styles you want to receive. The options are thongs only, never thongs or a mix, so there is something there for everyone. I went for ‘never thongs’ since Alexa Chung once said that nobody looks good in a thong, and who I am I to go against the queen of fashion?
Overall, I would recommend Bootay Bag, it makes a really cute gift for a friend (I mean, look at that packaging!) and would also be a good way to treat yo’self. Despite coming from the US, it fits easily through your letterbox, which is fab because the sorting office is one of my least favourite places.
