Styling silver for daywear

I've been bit of a busy bee this week, with working at a vintage kilo sale on Sunday (and finding some bargains!) and then working this week to flyer for a different vintage fair, which involved carting my suitcase full of 5,000 leaflets through the pouring rain (and definitely gaining some more muscle in the process!).

There were also a couple more blogs which I was featured on last week, including on my friend Rhiannon's blog, where I wrote a post about styling silk scarves, and on STANCE, which is a uni project by the gorgeous Amara- you should definitely follow her on Instagram if you don't already and let me know if you've read either post!

Florals for Spring?

I think every blogger and their dog has used this post title, but it's a good quote and fits with this outfit, so I'm sticking with it- sorry if you're sick of hearing it.

I've been carrying on with my charity shop obsession over the past week and have found quite a few new pieces which I am desperate to feature on here, including my dream gingham blouse, which you'll have seen if you follow me on Instagram, it's a beautiful cold shoulder ruffled number and I've worn it most days since I got it.

Last week, I found out that I didn't get either of the jobs that I had trial shifts for, which was really disappointing, especially since I'd been told that I had got one of them and worked my first shift before my shifts were given to someone else. To cheer me up, my mum took me out charity shopping (I'm addicted!) and we found an amazing bag which I will be featuring on here soon.

The orangery

This past week has been busy, but exciting! I had a job interview and a couple of trial shifts, so am keeping my fingers crossed about getting a new job soon. I was also at the Intu Metrocentre fashion event on Wednesday with Alice and Amy, and we met up beforehand to take blog photos which should be up next week!

As well as this, I was featured on a couple of other websites which was really exciting, I did an interview with Bloggerview about a month ago and that went live, as did my first guest post for the Barnardo's blog. I would love to know if you've read either of the posts and am currently working on my second post for Barnardo's so would love any feedback! Lastly, I received my finished blog header from the very talented Ella Masters, and love it, it's the perfect illustration of me and I am feeling a lot better about the look of my blog since adding it to the layout.
