Meet my new obsession; Pop Boutique. I’ve visited their stores twice in the past couple of weeks and have (unfortunately for my bank balance) been unable to walk away empty-handed. I visited their store in Leeds the other week and picked up both of the pieces that I’m wearing in this post and then had to pop into their Manchester branch whilst I was there for a shoot at the weekend. They are a brand that I truly love, they sell hand selected vintage (be still my beating heart) as well as new clothing which is designed by them. Amazingly, despite processing at least 10,000 kilos of vintage each week, no garments go to waste, any which are not saleable are recycled.
Not only is their brand great in general, but I love the layout and styling of their shops, the Manchester branch has a neon sign over the door which is really cool and instead of using carrier bags, they use Pop Boutique branded fabric totes which I now own two of and am excited to use day-to-day.
The photos for this post were taken by my friend Becka, who is a third-year photography student also at the University of Huddersfield and I love how they’ve turned out; she is so talented and I am excited to work with her more!
